Fitz had called Kari up just wanting to spend some time alone with her. He missed her and with the election going on? He just needed the release, he knew Mellie was off with Andrew and somehow it didn't bother him much. He wasn't in love with Mellie, he however was crazy in love with Kari. He bought the house they had spent time in, it was their place now. And that was where they were meeting, Fitz was there already and had dinner he had ordered and brought. He was just finishing heating it up when she arrived.

Kari had been overjoyed to hear from him. Hearing the news had made her worry about him, moreso when she couldn't get a hold of him as quickly as she had been able to before the campaign. She came as soon as he called, she was just as crazy in love with him as he was with her.

She slipped into the house, setting her bag down by the front door and hanging up her jacket. "Honey, I'm home," she called playfully, while sliding off her shoes because she knew he loved to see her bare feet and she loved him being able to touch them. She was just wearing jeans and a T-shirt that would be easy for Fitz to get off, because she definitely did want him to take them off and remind her that she was his woman.
